"My daughter started seeing Julia when she was 3 due to some speech problems. Not only did she progress quickly but with Julia's input she has blossomed.
"Our son is 4 and my husband and I found it incredibly difficult to understand him when he spoke. He was becoming frustrated and angry with everyone at home because we kept misunderstanding him, even when he spoke slowly and repeated himself. I spoke to a couple of friends whose children have speech therapy and they recommended Julia. Julia came to our house for the initial consultation and within the first few minutes had our son chatting away and interested in what she was doing. "I was recommended Julia by 'Marlow parents' for her speech and language support. My daughter was going through the process of being assessed for her learning difficulties and had been recognised as having a language disorder linked to her difficulties. However due to a short fall in the NHS SALT services there was a time when the staff were going through a shortage and we were left for a time without this crucial support. I contacted Julia and was so lucky to have her onboard helping Maddie. Her thorough evaluation of Maddie helped not only me to understand her further but also her teachers to be able to provide the right support. Julia was able to visit Maddie in her school environment and home and offer strategies to help develop her communication and understanding. This has allowed Maddie to develop friendships more easily and have fewer melt downs.
Julia's understanding of the EHIC process allowed her reports to be thorough and provide exactly the correct information required. With all her reports as a parent you are left with a clear strategy to help your child develop further and I would highly recommend Julia for anyone who is worried about their child's language development".

"We met with Julia, she listened and asked questions, she played with Josh and put together a full analysis of how she saw the issues and broke them down into manageable pieces. She took each issue and provided us with way to help Josh at home in everyday life, even things his brothers could help him with during play. It was never seen as hard or work in Josh's eyes, all just good fun. Josh loved seeing Julia and was excited when I told him she would be visiting. The progress we made was fabulous and Josh is much more confident as a result. It was hard to watch our son struggle in social situations, so difficult to see him frustrated at not being able to vocalise effectively; this changed as soon as Josh started to work with Julia; I highly recommend the service she provides"

"I don't know where we would be now without Julia who was absolutely fabulous. When Julia met us my son Tom who was 4 had a very bad stammer which he was very aware of and we were all finding very distressing. She quickly identified the key issues and came up with simple strategies for us as a family to use to help Tom. She was incredibly reassuring and kind, Tom loved her and she was always there for me to talk to when things got a bit much.
